The typhoon is expected to pass near Naha, Japan, between Sunday and Monday. Travelers using Naha Airport are encouraged to check with airlines for potential flight changes.

Separately, weather authorities noted that while conditions remain stable through next Wednesday, an intensifying northeast monsoon starting October 1 may bring rain to northern and eastern regions. Additionally, annual high tides may cause seawater incursion in low-lying coastal areas from New Taipei to Changhua and in Penghu.
