Typhoons 13, 15, and 16 active across the region

Multiple typhoons are currently active in the region, including Typhoon 15, Typhoon 16, and Typhoon 13.

Typhoon 15 (Chan-hong) is located east of Japan and is moving slowly northwest. It is forecasted to reach eastern Japan by the evening of August 11 and is expected to cross the Japanese archipelago between August 11 and 12 before becoming a tropical depression in the Sea of Japan.

Typhoon 16 (Peipao) has newly formed near the Ogasawara Islands. It is moving east at approximately 20–30 km/h and is expected to pass near Minamitorishima.

Typhoon 13 (Dolphin) is described as a large and very strong typhoon. As of August 9, it was located in the East China Sea, moving west-northwest toward central China. It maintains high wind speeds, with maximum gusts recorded up to 60 meters per second.
