Tyrnavos Municipal Theatre undergoes renovation and upgrades

The Municipality of Tyrnavos has initiated a series of restoration and upgrade works at the Tyrnavos Municipal Theatre to address years of wear and lack of maintenance. The facility serves as a central cultural hub for the city, hosting theatrical performances, concerts, film screenings, and educational activities for students and local organizations.

Completed works include interior and exterior painting, surface repairs, and extensive cleaning of the carpets and premises. Additionally, all 300 seats in the auditorium have been replaced with new, durable, waterproof, and anti-flea fabric to improve comfort and hygiene. Safety interventions have also been implemented for spectators and staff. The municipal authority plans to continue these efforts with upcoming restoration works focused on the theatre stage.
