Tyrol honors outstanding music ensembles and choirs

The State of Tyrol has awarded the 16th Tyrolean Brass Music Prize and the 14th Tyrolean State Prize for Choirs and Vocal Ensembles during an open house event at Landhausplatz.

In the brass music category, the Musikkapelle Anras, Musikkapelle Ranggen, and the Jugendblasorchester HULA from the Ötztal region were recognized. The Musikkapelle Anras specifically received the prize in Category II (C/D) following high competition scores, qualifying them for the 2026 federal competition in Schladming.

In the choral category, the Jugendchor Tristach and the Kammerchor ‘Pars Pro Toto’ from Innsbruck were honored. The awards, presented by Governor Anton Mattle and Deputy Governor Josef Geisler, celebrate the commitment of volunteers who sustain the region's musical culture through community engagement and youth work.
