UABJO completes quality management audit and prepares for bicentennial

The Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez de Oaxaca (UABJO) has concluded an internal audit of 26 institutional processes as part of its Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Led by Rector Farid Acevedo López, the audit reviewed 31 different areas, including student selection, social service management, school administration, and human resources, to identify areas for improvement and enhance service quality.

In preparation for an upcoming external follow-up audit scheduled for late August, the university aims to strengthen its organizational structure. Simultaneously, the institution is preparing to commemorate the bicentennial of the Institute of Sciences and Arts of Oaxaca, the precursor to the modern university. As part of these celebrations, Preparatoria 3 in Huajuapan de León will participate in the commemorative activities. The preparatory school also recently completed its induction course for the 2026-2027 academic cycle, focusing on academic preparation and personal development modules.
