UAE and Germany strengthen economic ties through trade and logistics partnerships

Emirates SkyCargo and Dubai Chambers have entered into an agreement to facilitate the international growth of Dubai-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through this partnership, Dubai Chamber of Commerce members will gain access to Emirates SkyCargo’s logistics network spanning six continents. The initiative includes the use of Emirates Courier Express for door-to-door international shipments, combining transportation with customs clearance to assist with time-sensitive deliveries.

The collaboration also focuses on supply chain optimization through workshops, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and cargo advisory programmes designed for SMEs and startups. Additionally, the agreement offers benefits via the Emirates Business Rewards programme.

Separately, economic ties between the United Arab Emirates and Germany are expanding through increased investment and joint ventures. Following a state visit by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Germany, approximately 30 bilateral agreements and MoUs worth over $10 billion USD were signed. This partnership aims to combine German industrial and technological expertise in sectors such as AI, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing with UAE capital and regional market access.
