UAE delivers humanitarian aid and water tankers to Gaza

Under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the United Arab Emirates has delivered significant humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Recent convoys included 57 trucks carrying 781 tonnes of food and shelter supplies, along with nine water tankers containing potable water. These water tankers were provided to the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility to support residents and displaced persons amidst an ongoing water crisis.

The water initiative was supported by the Dar Al Ber Society and the Fujairah Charity Association. These efforts aim to bolster the capacity of local authorities to provide essential water and sanitation services.

Since the launch of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, a total of 14,290 trucks have entered Gaza, delivering a combined 136,439 tonnes of humanitarian assistance. Aid is being coordinated through the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, which manages the receipt, sorting, and dispatch of supplies.
