Humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza

Overview

International efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip have continued through various maritime and land-based operations.

Under the Amalthea Plan, Cyprus has functioned as a hub for the collection and inspection of supplies, facilitating the departure of aid via the port of Ashdod. One recent shipment from Cyprus included 900 tons of medicines, food, and shelter supplies, contributing to a total of more than 37,000 tons delivered through the maritime corridor.

Simultaneously, the United Arab Emirates has conducted aid deliveries through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. This operation has utilized convoys of trucks and water tankers to provide food, shelter, and potable water to residents and displaced persons. Since the launch of this operation, a total of 14,290 trucks have entered Gaza, delivering approximately 136,439 tonnes of assistance.
