UAE forecast predicts rising humidity and coastal fog this weekend

The National Center of Meteorology issued a forecast for the United Arab Emirates indicating partly cloudy skies with temperatures remaining in the low‑ to mid‑40 °C range across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and other emirates. Humidity is expected to increase sharply, reaching 70‑90 % in coastal areas and up to 85 % inland, creating heavy, saturated air.

Meteorologists warned that the high moisture levels could produce early‑morning fog and mist over coastal and inland zones from Friday into early next week. Light to moderate south‑westerly to north‑westerly winds of 10‑20 km/h may freshen to 30‑35 km/h, with occasional dusty gusts in eastern regions. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are projected to stay slight to moderate.

Residents are advised to exercise caution while driving in reduced visibility and to monitor updates as the humid conditions persist into the weekend.
