UAE Ministry of Finance launches second retail treasury sukuk issuance
The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced the second issuance of its government treasury sukuk program for individuals. The issuance targets a total volume of 50 million dirhams with a five-year maturity period.
Subscribers, including UAE citizens and residents, can participate from September 23 to September 28, 2026, through approved digital channels. The sukuk offers an annual profit rate of 5.06%, with distributions paid semi-annually. The minimum subscription amount is set at 1,000 dirhams.
Following the allocation and settlement processes, the sukuk is scheduled to be listed and begin trading on Nasdaq Dubai on October 1, 2026. This initiative aims to expand the local capital market and provide Sharia-compliant sovereign investment tools to individual investors.
