Overview
The UAE Ministry of Finance has initiated its second five-year retail T-Sukuk issuance, a Shariah-compliant program designed to provide UAE nationals and residents with access to sovereign debt. This follows an inaugural offering that saw demand reach Dh445 million, significantly exceeding the Dh50 million target.
The current issuance targets a volume of 50 million dirhams with a minimum subscription threshold of 1,000 dirhams. Subscription is available to individuals from September 23 to September 28, 2026, via various digital channels and participating banks. The issuance features an annual profit rate of 5.06% with semi-annual distributions. Following settlement, the sukuk is scheduled to list on Nasdaq Dubai for secondary market trading on October 1, 2026.
