UAE opens registration for seventh Artificial Intelligence Program cohort
The UAE Ministry of State for Artificial Intelligence has opened registration for the seventh cohort of its Artificial Intelligence Program. Scheduled to run from September 2026 to January 2027, the program is implemented by the National Artificial Intelligence Program in collaboration with the University of Birmingham.
This year's curriculum focuses on generative and assistive artificial intelligence technologies. The initiative aligns with the UAE government's goal to transition 50% of government sectors, services, and operations to assistive AI-based operating models within two years.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, stated that developing national skills and competencies is a strategic priority to ensure the country's leadership in the AI economy. The program aims to equip national leaders with the technical and leadership capabilities required to design and implement innovative AI solutions.
