UAE organizations prioritize AI readiness and security in new Dell study
A 2026 study by Dell Technologies and Vanson Bourne reveals that organizations in the United Arab Emirates are entering a new phase of digital transformation, shifting from AI experimentation to execution. The research indicates that 82% of leaders are becoming more selective with technology investments due to macroeconomic conditions, prioritizing value and measurable business outcomes.
Key trends include a significant move toward AI-ready hardware, with 94% of UAE leaders planning to integrate AI PCs into their future workplace strategies. To support this, there is a growing preference for strategic partnerships; 86% of leaders prefer sourcing needs from single providers with the scale to move AI projects from pilot to production stages.
Security and compliance remain critical hurdles. Approximately 68% of leaders expressed concerns regarding government regulations and data usage for AI, noting that these issues have delayed initiatives. Furthermore, 94% of respondents prioritize integrated cyber resilience and data protection when evaluating infrastructure, treating security as a baseline requirement rather than an optional add-on.
