UAE weather: Fog alerts and high temperatures up to 46°C

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued weather forecasts for the United Arab Emirates, predicting fair to partly cloudy skies with high humidity and the possibility of fog or mist in coastal and internal areas. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 46°C in internal regions, while mountainous areas will see highs between 29°C and 35°C.

In Abu Dhabi, heavy fog has significantly reduced visibility, prompting authorities to activate a speed limit reduction of 80km/h on several major roads. These include routes such as the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed International Road, and various other key thoroughfares. Abu Dhabi Police have urged motorists to exercise caution, maintain safe distances, and monitor electronic information boards for real-time speed updates.
