UAE weather: High temperatures and fog expected
The United Arab Emirates is experiencing high temperatures and rising humidity, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Daytime temperatures are expected to reach between 42°C and 45°C in various internal regions, with specific areas like Liwa forecast to hit 44°C and Al Ain reaching 43°C.
High humidity levels, potentially reaching 90% to 95% in coastal and inland areas such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, are expected to cause fog or mist formation overnight and into the early mornings. This may impact visibility for drivers in urban and coastal regions.
Weather patterns are expected to shift toward the end of the week, with a greater chance of cloud development and convective clouds forming over eastern areas on Sunday and Monday. Despite the heat, sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are forecast to remain slight throughout the period.
