UAE weather: Temperatures to drop slightly with fog expected
Temperatures across the United Arab Emirates are expected to decrease slightly as summer conditions begin to recede. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), most emirates will see daytime highs drop below 40°C, with Abu Dhabi expected to reach the 40°C threshold and Fujairah seeing cooler temperatures around 35°C.
While general weather is forecast to be fair or partly cloudy, particularly in eastern and southern regions, high humidity is expected overnight and into the early mornings of the coming days. This increase in humidity, which could reach up to 90% in some coastal areas, is likely to cause the formation of mist or fog over coastal and inland regions through Tuesday and Wednesday.
Wind conditions are expected to remain light to moderate, though some areas may experience blowing dust. Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are forecast to remain generally slight to moderate.
