UAEMéx hosts second academic mobility and science event

The Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx) held the second edition of ‘Mover Ciencia, Movilidad Académica con Impacto Social’. Organized by the Directorate of Scientific Cooperation and Internationalization, the event focused on integrating internationalization into university life to expand opportunities for students, teachers, and researchers.

María Luisa Becerril López, director of Scientific Cooperation and Internationalization, emphasized the need for a permanent, inclusive, and accessible culture of internationalization that fosters interculturality and professional development. The initiative aims to build lasting collaboration networks through the exchange of knowledge and perspectives.

In 2025, the university reported that 181 advanced studies students and 118 professors participated in national and international academic mobility activities. A key highlight of the event was a panel on double-degree experiences featuring specialists from the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche in Spain.
