Overview
The Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMéx) has implemented various institutional initiatives focused on community well-being and academic expansion.
In one program, the university concluded the first season of ‘Ven a Casa’, an initiative coordinated by the Directorate of Continuing and Digital Education (DECyD) aimed at the integral well-being of older adults. Running from May to July, the program hosted 109 participants through 11 workshops designed to foster autonomy, digital literacy, and social connection.
Additionally, the university hosted the second edition of ‘Mover Ciencia, Movilidad Académica con Impacto Social’. Organized by the Directorate of Scientific Cooperation and Internationalization, this event focused on fostering a culture of internationalization and building collaboration networks. The university reported significant academic mobility in 2025, involving 181 advanced studies students and 118 professors in national and international activities.
