Turkey economic data shows rising agricultural and foreign producer prices

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released updated economic data regarding agricultural and foreign producer price indices.

In June, the Agricultural Input Price Index (Tarım-GFE) decreased by 0.92% compared to the previous month. However, the index saw a significant annual increase of 32.06%. Within this category, fertilizer and soil conditioners experienced the highest annual rise at 50.99%, while agricultural medicines and materials saw lower annual increases of approximately 22.60% and 20.47%, respectively.

Regarding the Foreign Producer Price Index (YD-ÜFE), July data shows a monthly increase of 2.51% and an annual increase of 29.67%. The energy sector recorded the highest annual surge at 77.63%. Other notable annual increases included mining and quarrying at 38.81% and manufacturing industry products at 29.50%.
