UAQ launches rector election process amid Morena internal disputes

The Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ) Electoral Commission, led by Edgar Pérez González, is set to release the official call for the upcoming rector reelection process scheduled for next month. There is speculation regarding whether Dr. Silvia Amaya Llano will run as the sole candidate, following her performance during her first three years in office.

In Zacatecas, political tensions are rising within the Morena party following the designation of Verónica Díaz Robles as State Coordinator. National leader Ariadna Montiel Reyes stated that the party has provided surveys, audio recordings, and technical methodologies to explain the selection process to those contesting the results, specifically addressing concerns raised by figures such as Ulises Mejía Haro.
