UAT adds new graduate programs and honors language‑center graduates

Rector Dámaso Anaya Alvarado chaired the University Assembly of the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) in Reynosa, approving updates to seven master’s programs, two doctoral programs, new licentiates, renewal of the veterinary degree, an updated nursing licence and the liquidation of an agro‑sustainable production program. The assembly also confirmed Dr. José de Jesús Guzmán Morales as head of the university’s Defensoría de los Derechos Universitarios.

In Victoria, the university’s Center for Children and Adolescent Language (CeINA UAT) held a graduation ceremony. Edith Maldonado Díaz, director of CeINA, presented medals and certificates to 41 students who earned TOEFL scores, as well as to 26 English and 5 French graduates. The event highlighted the support of rector Anaya and the leadership of Isolda Rendón de Anaya, president of Familia UAT, and Julio César Chávez Galván, director general of Familia UAT.
