Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas announces Disney exchange and academic achievements
The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) has announced several academic and extracurricular milestones. The university is inviting students to apply for the 2027 Disney Cultural Exchange Program, which offers a summer work and training placement at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, from May 17 to August 5, 2027. This program allows students in fields such as International Business, Tourism, and Marketing to earn professional internship credits.
In academic competitions, Juan Carlos Guzmán Antonio from the Facultad de Ingeniería Tampico (FIT) secured first place in the 12th TamCoder 2026 State Programming Contest. The competition, organized by Cinvestav, focused on identifying high-level programming skills among undergraduate students.
Additionally, the UAT's Faculty of Nursing Victoria (FEV) flag escort participated in the civic ceremony marking the start of the 2026-2027 Federal Electoral Process at the National Electoral Institute (INE) headquarters in Mexico City. The group attended as national champions of the 'Altiva y Heroica Tamaulipas' flag escort competition.
