UAT students receive scholarships for technology projects

Students from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) have joined the 2026 Technology-Based Business Incubation Program organized by the Consejo Tamaulipeco de Ciencia y Tecnología (COTACYT). Through the signing of scholarship assignment agreements, these students will receive support to develop digital and engineering solutions tailored to the needs of the state's productive sectors.

Out of eleven projects authorized at the state level, seven were approved from UAT teams due to their technical rigor, feasibility, and potential impact. The program aims to help students consolidate their prototypes into mature technology-based startups for both state and national markets.

Key projects include a Multitenant SaaS CRM for investment management and an advanced monitoring and operational management system for the food services sector, developed by the Faculty of Engineering in Tampico.
