Ubatuba and Itabira municipalities implement new 2026 service and holiday schedules

The municipal government of Ubatuba (São Paulo) issued a revised 2026 calendar that adds year‑end recess days on 21‑23 December and 28‑30 December. The amendment was signed by Secretary of Administration Odirley Gil de Souza and published in the official gazette.

The city council of Itabira (Minas Gerais) approved Project Law 57/2026, mandating that the municipal executive publish a monthly timetable of urban‑maintenance actions—such as grass cutting, plaza cleaning, tree pruning and drainage clearing—on the city’s website. The law also creates a “Citizen Channel” for residents to submit, track, and receive protocol numbers for service requests and complaints.
