Ubatuba municipal education shows growth in 2025 IDEB results

The 2025 IDEB results indicate an evolution in the municipal education system of Ubatuba, Brazil. The municipal average for the early years of elementary school rose from 6.0 to 6.02, showing a more uniform performance across the school network and a reduction in performance gaps between institutions.

Key highlights include EM Altimira Silva Abirached, which achieved the highest score in the network at 7.3. Other notable performers include EM Renata Castilho da Silva with a score of 6.9. Significant growth was recorded at EM Nativa Fernandes de Faria, which rose from 5.4 to 6.3, marking the largest increase in the network.

According to Municipal Education Secretary Claudinei dos Santos, these results reflect the effectiveness of pedagogical monitoring and the work of school teams in improving learning outcomes.
