Ubatuba municipality announces new job openings and public service contest

The Balcão de Emprego of the Prefeitura de Ubatuba released a weekly list of dozens of vacancies covering sectors such as commerce, hospitality, construction, logistics, environmental services and more. Positions range from supermarket staff and cleaners to electricians, gardeners, drivers and office assistants. Applicants are asked to submit resumes in person at the office on Avenida João Duarte Ferreira, Ressaca, and can also access free training courses through Qualifica SP and Capacita GOV.BR.

Separately, the Empresa Municipal de Desenvolvimento Urbano de Ubatuba (Emdurb) opened registration for a public competition offering 48 positions across four roles: desinsetizador (12 slots), parking‑operations agent (30 slots), office assistant (5 slots) and administrative officer (1 slot). Salaries reach up to R$2,612.44 with a 44‑hour work week. Registration closes on 10 August, the exam is scheduled for 30 August, and results will be published in September. The contest is managed by the Associação Brasileira de Concursos Públicos (ABCS).
