Ubatuba launches cultural contests and community initiatives

The municipality of Ubatuba is implementing several cultural and social initiatives. The Fundação de Arte e Cultura de Ubatuba (Fundart) is hosting a literary contest with registration open until the 28th, following the publication of its 2025 anthology. Additionally, the Política Nacional Aldir Blanc (PNAB) Cycle 2 registration for cultural projects, traditional knowledge valorization, and community initiatives concludes on September 23, 2026.

Regarding community events, the Fundação da Criança e do Adolescente de Ubatuba (Fundac) is organizing the “Festa das Crianças” for October 9 and 10, expecting over 800 participants for free activities and workshops.

In terms of long-term planning, the Ubatuba Tourism Secretariat has begun preparations for Ubafolia 2027. A meeting with the Liga dos Blocos and carnival associations is scheduled for October 8 to coordinate logistics, security, and traffic management to improve the experience for residents and visitors.
