Ubatuba sets registration deadline for Municipal Council of Tourism

The deadline for registration to join the Ubatuba Municipal Council of Tourism (CMT) for the 2026-2028 biennium is Monday, the 24th. Interested parties must complete an electronic form and attach the required documentation for their specific segment in a single PDF file.

The council is composed of members from the public sector, the tourism production chain, and organized civil society. Following the analysis of applicants, representatives will be chosen in an Electoral Assembly.

Tourism Secretary Anderson Paiva emphasized the importance of meeting the deadline, noting that the current mandate extension decree is limited to 120 days. Once this period expires, the Council will be unable to deliberate on any new demands until the legal election process is completed. The CMT works alongside the Secretariat of Tourism to implement municipal policies, analyze sector-related projects, and oversee the application of resources from the Municipal Tourism Fund.
