Uber expands mobility services in Argentina and Spain
Uber is expanding its service offerings in Argentina and Spain. In Casilda, Argentina, the company has launched UberX and Uber Envíos, marking its tenth year of operation in the country. The platform is now available in more than 60 cities across Argentina. The expansion allows for the registration of private vehicle drivers, taxi drivers, and remises, with the latter gaining access to security tools and insurance coverage.
In Vigo, Spain, Uber has evolved into an integrated mobility platform. In addition to its existing ride-hailing and car rental services, users can now purchase Renfe train tickets directly through the app. To encourage adoption, the company is offering discounts on first-time train ticket purchases and a 10% cashback incentive on subsequent rail travel.
