Ubisoft to release New Game Plus for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
Ubisoft has confirmed that a New Game Plus mode will arrive for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced next week. The announcement, made via the official Assassin’s Creed X account, follows months of requests from the gaming community since the remake's launch in July 2026.
While an exact release date has not been specified, the update is expected to arrive between late October and early November 2026. The mode is intended to allow players to restart the campaign while retaining certain progress, such as equipment, upgrades, and abilities, providing increased replayability for the pirate adventure.
The remake, developed by Ubisoft Singapore, was rebuilt from the ground up using the Anvil engine. This structural overhaul contributed to the development timeline for post-launch features. Since its release, the title has seen significant commercial success, with reports indicating sales reached several million units shortly after launch.
