Ñuble region implements ENADI strategy to link investment with employment
The National Labor Demand Strategy for Investment (ENADI) has been introduced in the Ñuble region of Chile to transform regional investment into concrete job opportunities. The initiative aims to anticipate hiring needs by coordinating between the public and private sectors, ensuring that upcoming projects are matched with a prepared workforce.
The strategy focuses on four key metrics: identifying which workers will be needed, how many, where they will be located, and when they will be required. To achieve this, the plan will strengthen coordination between investment projects, public services, and municipalities, specifically utilizing Municipal Labor Information Offices (OMIL).
Key institutional roles include SENCE, which will align its training programs with required professional profiles, and ChileValora, which will assist in recognizing and certifying workers' competencies. Presidential delegate Diego Sepúlveda emphasized that the strategy allows for more timely management by connecting investment projects directly to the labor opportunities required by the region.
