UFC 334 to feature Ciryl Gane title defense at Madison Square Garden

The UFC is returning to Madison Square Garden on November 14 for UFC 334, featuring a heavyweight title defense by Ciryl Gane against undefeated contender Josh Hokit. This event marks the organization's first appearance at the venue since late 2025.

The card also includes a high-profile bantamweight bout between champion Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes. Other scheduled matchups include Caio Borralho versus Yousri Belgaroui and Uros Medic against Kevin Holland.

The announcement of Hokit’s title shot has drawn criticism from veteran fighter Alexander Volkov, who suggested the promotion granted the opportunity due to Hokit’s “mental illness.” Hokit responded by questioning Volkov’s performance and tenure with the promotion. Despite the controversy, some analysts, including Dustin Poirier, suggest Hokit’s wrestling skills could present a significant challenge for Gane.
