UFC 2026 event scheduling and fight announcements

Overview

The UFC has scheduled its final two numbered events for 2026. The November 14 event, titled ‘Polymarket UFC 334’, is set to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, marking the organization’s first appearance at the venue since late 2025. UFC 335 is scheduled for December 12 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC 334 will feature two major championship bouts. In the main event, undisputed heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane will defend his title against undefeated challenger Josh Hokit. Gane was elevated to undisputed status after Tom Aspinall vacated the belt due to eye injuries. Hokit, a former football player, earned his shot following a decision victory over Derrick Lewis. The announcement of Hokit’s title shot has sparked controversy; veteran fighter Alexander Volkov criticized the promotion, suggesting the opportunity was granted due to Hokit’s ‘mental illness’. Hokit responded by questioning Volkov’s performance and tenure. Despite the friction, analyst Dustin Poirier noted that Hokit’s wrestling skills could pose a significant challenge for Gane.

The co-main event features a women’s bantamweight title fight between champion Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes. This matchup marks Nunes’ return to the octagon after more than three years away from competition and follows a postponement caused by Harrison’s neck surgery and a separate injury to Nunes.

Additional bouts on the card include Caio Borralho versus Yousri Belgaroui, Uros Medic versus Kevin Holland, and a potential retirement fight for Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson against Charles Radtke.
