UK developers finish Bubwith homes and plan hundreds of new houses near Warrington
Mulgrave Properties has completed construction of a ten‑home development called The Orchard in the North Yorkshire village of Bubwith. Eight of the homes are now occupied, with one four‑bedroom house, the Letchworth, still for sale at £624,950. The company also contributed £23,800 toward off‑site recreational facilities and incorporated green features such as air‑source heat pumps, electric‑vehicle charging points, hedgehog highways and a new open‑space area.
In the Warrington area, house‑building firms Redrow and Bellway are seeking planning approval for large new schemes. Redrow has submitted a request for a screening opinion on a site off Hob Hey Lane in Culcheth, proposing up to 450 homes on 47 acres, pending an environmental impact assessment. Bellway, already delivering 153 homes at St Oswald’s Place in Winwick, is planning a second phase that could add up to 250 homes on a 22‑acre parcel, also awaiting an EIA decision.
