UK garden centres launch early Christmas departments

UK garden centres are beginning their seasonal preparations for the Christmas period. Ongar Garden Centre, part of the British Garden Centres group, has scheduled its Christmas department launch for October 3 and 4. The launch will feature an expanded Fern Christmas and Lighting collection, including artificial trees, decorations, and home accessories. The centre also plans to host festive dining and Santa experiences.

Similarly, Poplar Nurseries has been preparing its showroom since early September. The centre will officially open its Christmas department on September 26, featuring traditional and Nordic themes. Management noted that market trends indicate customers are increasingly shopping for the holiday season earlier each year.
