UK police arrest suspects in drug and firearm raids

Staffordshire Police raided a property on Tamworth Road in Amington, Tamworth, on 2 June. Officers recovered a firearm and ammunition, seized Class A and B drugs and related paraphernalia, and arrested a 39‑year‑old man and a 39‑year‑old woman from Tamworth on suspicion of illegal possession of the weapons and drugs. The man, who was subject to licence conditions, was recalled to prison, while the woman was placed on conditional bail.

On 10 June, Lancashire Constabulary executed a drugs warrant at a house on Wilfred Street in Accrington. A quantity of cannabis and ketamine was seized, and a 20‑year‑old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs. He was later released pending forensic investigations.

Both operations demonstrate coordinated police efforts to disrupt illegal drug supply and unlawful firearm possession in England.
