UK police launch crackdowns on anti‑social behaviour in North Wales and immigration crime in Stoke‑on‑Trent
North Wales Police have issued an update on Operation Lens in Connah’s Quay, Flintshire. Officers identified several young suspects involved in anti‑social behaviour, urged parents to monitor their children in the evenings and thanked the community for reports. Sergeant Dave Smith said, “Operation Lens is already delivering results, with several young people identified and positive action taken.”
Staffordshire Police carried out a national organised immigration‑crime sweep in Stoke‑on‑Trent, visiting 22 businesses between June 15‑20. Forty‑six individuals were debriefed and referrals made to Trading Standards and immigration officials to protect vulnerable people. Detective Inspector Carla Thompson noted, “This activity generates crucial intelligence that helps us recognise patterns and better understand these criminal networks.”
