Ukraine and Russia trade deadly drone strikes on Tula, Kharkiv and Kyiv

Ukrainian drones struck the Russian city of Tula, about 200 km south of Moscow, killing at least three people and injuring several others, including a one‑year‑old child, regional governor Dmitry Milayev reported.

In a separate incident, Russian forces hit the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, killing five state emergency rescue workers and wounding five more as they attempted to extinguish a fire.

Later that night, a large‑scale Russian drone and missile barrage targeted Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv and Kharkiv. The attacks killed at least 11 civilians, injured dozens, and caused significant damage to the historic Kyiv‑Pechersk Lavra, a UNESCO World Heritage religious site.
