Ukraine begins export of fully assembled combat drones to the United States

Ukrainian defence company F‑Drones secured official permission to ship complete combat UAVs to the U.S. armed forces for the first time. The first consignment of 2,000 F10 strike drones has crossed the Ukrainian border and will be used by the U.S. Army for training, tactical testing and performance evaluation.

The deal stems from the Pentagon’s "Drone Dominance" programme and follows F‑Drones’ participation in the Gauntlet I trials at Fort Benning, Georgia, where the system was among eleven finalists awarded contracts. The export approval was granted after a full review by Ukraine’s inter‑agency commission on military‑technical cooperation and export control, just before new, streamlined export rules took effect. The agreement also includes plans for F‑Drones’ U.S. subsidiary, UDD Tech Corp, to open an assembly line on American soil, marking the first time a Ukrainian weapons manufacturer establishes production in the United States.
