In early July 2026, Ukrainian defence firm F‑Drones secured permission to export fully assembled F10 strike combat drones to the United States, with an initial shipment of 2,000 units for Army training and a plan for a Ukrainian‑owned assembly line on U.S. soil.

Later that month, the partnership broadened to naval unmanned systems. Ukrainian UAV maker UFORCE and U.S. contractor ReconCraft signed a memorandum of understanding to produce the Magura family of surface drones at facilities in Oregon and South Carolina. The agreement, finalized at the Ukrainian embassy in Washington, targets an initial delivery of hundreds of units, scaling to thousands annually, and integrates the low‑cost, long‑range Magura platforms into U.S. operational concepts.

Subsequent updates confirmed that production has begun. The Magura V7, a 7.6‑metre autonomous surface vessel capable of carrying over 770 kg, striking aerial targets with AIM‑9 Sidewinder missiles, and performing mine‑countermeasure and anti‑submarine tasks, will be assembled in the United States using components and expertise supplied by both firms. Both parties emphasise that the venture will enable rapid fielding of affordable unmanned maritime capabilities for the U.S. military and its allies.

Together, these steps illustrate a deepening Ukraine‑U.S. collaboration that moves from importing completed combat drones to co‑manufacturing a range of advanced unmanned platforms on U.S. territory.
