Ukraine cuts Russian supply lines to occupied Crimea

Ukrainian forces have intensified attacks on the occupied Crimean peninsula, targeting logistics, fuel supplies and transport infrastructure. The governor of Sevastopol announced a limit of 20 liters of fuel per citizen per week, a sharp reversal of earlier Russian statements that allowed daily purchases.

A recent night raid struck a power substation and a locomotive, killing the train driver and wounding his assistant. Passenger rail service was halted and buses were deployed to move travelers.

Ukraine’s strategy aims to isolate Crimea and cut off Russian resupply. The partisan group ATESH reported that Russian troops withdrew from the Kinburn Peninsula after supply routes collapsed, leaving the remaining forces thinly staffed.

Ukraine’s commander of unmanned systems said Russian authorities have banned military cargo on the R‑280 highway and the A‑291 Crimea highway, reducing cargo traffic by roughly 71 % after sustained drone attacks.
