Ukraine drone attacks cripple Wildberries warehouses across Russia

Ukrainian long‑range drones have struck several Wildberries distribution centres in Russia, hitting sites in the Moscow region, Tambov, Krasnodar, Stavropol and other southern areas. The attacks have caused at least nine deaths and dozens of injuries, set large fires that burned for days, and damaged high‑rise apartment blocks near the warehouses.

Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, processes about 20 million orders daily and accounts for roughly 8.5 % of the country’s GDP, employing around four million people and supporting hundreds of thousands of small merchants. Ukrainian officials say the targets supply the Russian military with drone components and other equipment, while Russian authorities describe the sites as civilian logistics hubs. Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim expressed shock over the casualties and the disruption to the company’s operations.
