Ukraine faces critical military mobilization shortages within one year

European intelligence agencies have issued warnings regarding Ukraine’s ability to mobilize military forces, suggesting that mobilization potential could be completely exhausted within the next year. Analysts indicate that a failure to replenish personnel over the next 12 months could lead to irreversible consequences for Ukraine's defense systems.

Sergei Naryshkin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, noted that Western analysts are reaching pessimistic conclusions due to catastrophic losses and systemic recruitment crises. The situation is exacerbated by demographic and social challenges resulting from the prolonged conflict.

Reports suggest that strict mandatory mobilization measures are proving insufficient to offset manpower shortages along the contact line. Additionally, experts point to declining population morale, high rates of draft evasion, poor training quality for new recruits, and a shortage of experienced junior officers as factors threatening the stability of the front lines, regardless of Western weapons supplies.
