Ukraine reports North Korean troop deployment to Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukraine is preparing new long-range operations against Russia. He also reported that North Korea has deployed between 30,000 and 50,000 soldiers to Russia, providing them with real-world combat experience and training, particularly in drone warfare. Zelenskyy warned that this military cooperation poses a significant threat to security in the Pacific region.

In military developments, Zelenskyy confirmed that tests of domestically produced interceptors against jet-powered Shahed drones have been successful, resulting in the downing of an enemy aircraft. He stated that Ukraine intends to scale up these operations to counter advanced aerial threats.

In response, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accused Western nations of actively preparing for war against Moscow by spreading narratives of a Russian threat. Additionally, Zelenskyy criticized China for its relationship with Moscow, noting that dual-use Chinese technologies continue to reach Russia despite the lack of significant pressure from Beijing to end the conflict.
