Serbian Government Sets 17,493 Budget University Places
The Serbian government published a decision in the Official Gazette allocating a total of 17,493 state‑funded (budget) places for university study across the country. The University of Belgrade receives 9,732 places, with specific quotas for faculties such as Architecture (200), Electrical Engineering (430) and Law (235). Similar allocations are detailed for the University of Arts, University of Kragujevac, University of Niš and the temporary campus in Pristina, including reserved spots for students with disabilities and members of the Roma community.
These allocations aim to regulate admission capacity for the upcoming academic year and ensure representation of disadvantaged groups within higher education institutions.
