Ukraine releases footage of armored vehicles using anti-drone protection

The Ukrainian military has released footage of a combat operation involving a tank and an American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle attacking Russian positions on the front line. Both armored vehicles were equipped with specialized metal structures designed to protect against enemy drones, a feature Ukrainian media have dubbed ‘armored hedgehogs.’

During the engagement, the vehicles advanced directly toward the front line while being monitored and protected by reconnaissance and combat drones, including heavy ‘Vampire’ drones. The footage shows a Ukrainian FPV drone successfully intercepting and destroying a Russian FPV drone that was attempting to strike the tank.

The operation was carried out by the 475th Separate Assault Regiment under the command of Oleksandr Nastenko, known by the callsign ‘Flint.’ Following the direct fire engagement, the armored vehicles withdrew to their starting positions.
