Ukraine reports civilian injuries following Russian overnight airstrikes

Russian forces launched a series of overnight airstrikes and drone attacks across multiple regions of Ukraine, resulting in civilian injuries and significant damage to residential, medical, and industrial infrastructure.

In Slovyansk, four people were injured when an aerial bomb struck a multi-story residential building. The attack damaged 32 apartment buildings, a hotel, a kindergarten, and a private house. In the Kherson region, a drone strike hit a medical facility, leaving two staff members with moderate injuries.

Dnipro region faced over ten separate attacks involving drones, artillery, and guided aerial bombs, impacting homes and industrial sites. In Izium, guided bombs damaged more than ten houses and disrupted the electrical grid.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia utilized one guided missile alongside 121 strike and decoy drones. Air defense systems successfully intercepted 96 drones across the northern, southern, central, and eastern regions of the country.
