Ukraine strikes Russian oil refinery and air base

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian armed forces conducted deep strikes against Russian targets, including an oil refinery in Perm and the Marinovka military air base in the Volgograd region. The refinery strike occurred more than 1,600 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Dmitry Makhonin, the governor of the Perm region, confirmed that a drone attack hit an industrial facility in the Urals, causing damage, though he did not specify the exact nature of the installation. These long-range operations are part of Ukraine's efforts to bring the consequences of the conflict deeper into Russian territory.
