Ukraine war: Russian advances in Donetsk and strikes across multiple cities

On the 1,660th day of the war in Ukraine, Russian forces have made advances near Kostiantynivka and in the Kotlino area of the Donetsk region. Russian strikes have impacted various locations, including a warehouse and a gas station in Kyiv, an American plant in Dnipro, and shopping areas in Pavlohrad and Sumy. In Odesa, an attack on a Somali-flagged vessel resulted in the deaths of two Azerbaijani citizens.

In response, Ukrainian forces launched drone and maritime drone attacks on Sochi and naval vessels near Novorossiysk, resulting in over 20 injuries.

Regarding President Zelenskyy’s recent travel, reports clarified a previous concern regarding his flight from Moldova. While initial reports suggested a drone nearly intercepted the aircraft, it was later confirmed that a Shahed drone exploded approximately 160 km from Chisinau, and the President's plane was cleared for takeoff after the incident.
