Ukrainian forces sever Russia's Crimea-Donbas logistics corridor

Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) reports that it has taken fire control of the land corridor linking Crimea to the Donbas across occupied southern Ukraine. Using loitering munitions and Shark‑M reconnaissance drones supplied by a charitable project, Ukrainian units have repeatedly struck fuel tankers, trucks and heavy transport vehicles on the route, turning the corridor into a lethal target.

Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov confirmed that the highway stretching from Chonhar through Melitopol and Berdyansk to Mariupol has effectively stopped functioning as a Russian supply artery. He said any military vehicle on the route is now a legitimate target. The disruptions have worsened the already collapsing infrastructure in occupied cities such as Berdyansk, Melitopol, Enerhodar and Tokmak, leading to persistent power and water outages. Analysts note that cutting the corridor deepens Russia’s logistical challenges and isolates the Crimea peninsula.
